I’m a parent like you and want the best for my kids. Kids should have an opportunity to blow off steam and have fun, playing video games or whatever else they enjoy doing... but I also want them learning and developing a skill that they will thank me for when they get older. That’s just one of my motivations for having them in music lessons.
Imagine your child blasting through new music while having fun. Imagine the confidence they will have to perform a piece of music on the piano for everyone at a recital and how proud you will be to share this experience with them! This is reality for families in our program.
I know that having fun motivates kids to learn and that’s why we use some unique strategies to keep our students learning while having fun at the same time.
Our students are also setting goals for completing new songs and method books and are excited to continue moving ahead.
Video games will give them temporary fun. Learning a skill like playing piano will teach them how to focus and reach goals!
