Welcome to the Musik Garten Babies Program!
Welcome to Music for Babies! This class is designed so that you and your baby can play musically together in such a way that will serve your child’s well-being and total development. The Musik Garten Babies Program provides activities to foster bonding and intimacy between you and your baby. It also provides an enriched musical environment that nurtures the baby’s musical aptitude at a time when it is crucial to do so. A child's brain goes through an amazing amount of development from birth until three years old. They can produce as much as a million neural connections each second! It's a critical time to give them the proper stimulus for full development. Getting your baby involved early in music has a lot of benefits to include:
Enrollment/Registration Fees: The tuition for this program can be paid in full up front or broken into monthly payments. A First-Time Enrollment Fee of $35 will be added to the cost of the first session to cover the book and materials that will be given to your family. Tuition Is due by the first session of the month. Please note that the tuition price is per child. We accept cash, check, credit/debit card, PayPal, CashApp, and Venmo.
Required Materials: Teachers will hand out materials during the first week of class. Each booklet contains a CD and an access code for a digital download of the song recordings. The books and recordings are for home use, so you and your child become more familiar with the songs and activities we do in class.
Dropping Class/Refunds: Regardless of the reason, the books/materials fee of $35 is non-refundable. Partial refunds or credit are not given for missed classes or for students who drop a class.
Attendance Policy: You have the option of attending a makeup class at the end of the semester for any regularly scheduled class you miss.
Class Guidelines: Please be on time or a few minutes early. We sit on the floor, so wear comfortable clothing, remove your shoes, and wear socks. Please leave food, toys, pacifiers, drinks, etc. at home or in a diaper bag.
Loss or Injury: Lucas Music Academy is not responsible for any loss or injury incurred while participating in the program. Signature on the registration form acknowledges that Lucas Music Academy is released from all liability, including, but not limited to liability resulting from anyone’s negligence.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: Please realize that all children learn at different rates and in different ways. Some children will be quiet in class, others will be active. Some children will do everything perfectly at home, but not in class. Your job is to play and have fun with your child and ensure his/her safety as well as that of other children in the class. If you would like to meet or discuss the policies in further details, please contact Melissa Lucas (608-387-6482) at the studio.
We look forward to working with you and your family along this musical journey!
